By now you likely have heard about the Heartbleed bug. It has been in the news all over the world for the last several days. This is the most serious security issue the Internet has ever faced. As such, we feel it is important to let our customers hear from us personally to make sure you are fully informed of the situation and its consequences.

Through communications with our vendors and also through our own independent testing we can confirm to you that:

Your remote deposit application is not impacted by the Heartbleed bug.

Your on-line banking account(s) and on-line bill pay account(s) are not impacted by the Heartbleed bug.

As part of your normal course of business, you should be changing your on-line access password on a regular basis and we suggest that you take this opportunity to do that for all of your on-line accounts.To change your CornerStone on-line banking password, sign in to your account. At the top of the page you will see: "Options", click on that and then click on "edit" to change your password. You will receive a confirmation email from "administrator" (site administrator at ebankhost.net) notifying you that your password was successfully reset.

Out of an abundance of caution, we encourage you to monitor your CornerStone Bank accounts(s) regularly for any suspicious activity and contact us if you detect any suspicious transactions.
